The Ladder is fun position anywhere when you can grab a sturdy ladder ;) I think it's actually better for the man to grab onto the lady's hips and lean back a little to take the work off her arms (or maybe squeeze her boobs? hehe). You can use either love hole (as long as you're out of the pool/ocean water -- that can be irritating), and you totally get your man's shaft deep inside you with this position. As an added bonus, the water provides extra buoyancy to keep some weight off your arms! Hmm... Time to go swimming with the hubby ;)
Fun Fact: This is the only known workout lifeguards do. True story.
