How to Buy A Butt Plug That's Right for You

Courtesy of NSFWORLD

Buying sex toys can be difficult, especially when you're not sure of what you would like to try. We've written up a collection of a few tips to help you on your way to pleasured bliss. Anal toys range greatly in size, pleasurable materials, and texture; each of those characteristics make for a unique and great opportunity to find your erotic pleasure zones in your butt!

Choosing a sex toy you like can be a challenge, and anal toys can be even more difficult, particularly because the anus is less flexible than the vagina both physically and in terms of pleasure points. We hope to help you with your toy choices so that you can have the most comfortable, sensual pleasure possible!

1. Know Your Butt

Before you purchase any kind of anal toy, it's important to know your butt. If you've never used a butt plug before, it's best to know if you like anal stimulation, and if so, how many fingers you can take inside. If you're a regular anal enthusiast like I am, a new anal toy must be comfortable for you. The dimensions can't be too big, but big enough so that you get the sexy and greatly pleasurable 'full' feeling. Also, know what intimidates you and what makes you eager. If it's scary, chances are that you're not going to like it as much as if you like something with some naughty flair (or naughty apprehension hehe)

2. Don't be Afraid of Textures

As much as 'standard' butt plugs with a tapered tip like the Tantus Bronco Plug make for great pleasure devices, different textures can really take you over the top and have you clutching the sheets. They're easy to maneuver in your butt, and provide pleasures that are constantly changing, making your butt-pleasure experience much more intense. This is best if you've had a few butt toys already, and would like to try something new. Even novices that have never had a butt toy before can benefit from anal beads -- its incremental growth is great at easing your anus as well as giving you something to moan about in the meantime ;) Try something textured like the Fun Factory Beads or the Tantus Severin Plug!

3. Think About Materials

Silicone is the bread and butter of all sex toys, and they make for great toys because of their ease of care and longevity (if you like it, you get to keep it!). There are, however, many different types of materials that are excellent for anal play particularly. Stainless steel toys like the nJoy Pure Plug are weighty and great for extended wear since it exercises your Kegel muscles all the while giving you constant pleasure. Glass is more fragile, but the rigidity and more elaborate design allow for fantastic play and new experiences while you explore yourself!

4. Where to Shop and Remember it's Non-Returnable!

Almost all sex toys are non-returnable for the obvious reason of hygiene, and this means that if you buy a toy, you have to commit to it. Be careful in what you buy -- take into account the price, the design and lastly, be prepared to spend a little money. The more expensive 'luxury' toys are often better designed and of better quality that are less clingy to smells and bacteria. This is better for your health and ease of use, particularly with things that go in your butt. For anal toys, we've found that the best producers are Tantus, nJoy, and Fun Factory. Some of the best retailers of toys are: Adam and Eve, Amazon, Babeland, Good Vibrations, and Stag Shop.

5. Try an Adventure!

This is the fun one -- try something that makes you feel naughty and a tiny bit apprehensive. Go for something new: a different texture, something a bit cute and kinky like the Fox Tail Butt Plug. Find something that'll excite you as you use it for some reasons other than physical ones. New types of butt plugs still make me a bit nervous when my hubby gifts me them, but I invariably find myself moaning and wet as I try something new. Don't be afraid to have an adventure with your toys! After all, they'll last a long time and continue to bring you all sorts of pleasure :)
