Tone Up! Yoga Position of the Week: Downward Facing Dog with Kegel

Let's begin with a simple stretch that relaxes the body and puts your mind at ease. This highly versatile pose can then turn into a great sex position for those of you with strong arms.

  1. Start on all fours and place your hands several inches in front of your shoulders. Separate your knees hip-width apart and curl your toes under.
  2. Shift your weight into your palms and lift your off the floor. Push your buttocks towards the ceiling.
  3. Slowly straighten your knees and lift your heels off the mat just a little bit. Also keep your upper body straight and don't let your head dangle.
  4. Start the Kegel workout by contracting your pelvic muscles. Hold for 3 seconds and release, repeat 15 times.
Women with strong arms can proceed from the downward dog into the Courageous/Wheelbarrow sex position by having your partner lift up your legs from behind and hold onto either your thighs or hips.

Tip: Use a yoga mat to give yourself and your partner more grip during the session.

If any guys out there are adventurous enough, you should give the Handstand blow job position a go. Lean against a sturdy wall and have your partner entertain you ;)
